On 5–6 March, Gran Canaria hosted the Internationalisation Days: Well-being Across Borders, a key European education event focused on cooperation, mobility, and innovation within Erasmus+. Held at the Expomeloneras Fairgrounds, it brought together education stakeholders from across Europe.
The initiative was organised by the Office of European Education Programs in the Canary Islands under the Government of the Canary Islands, with support from CEP Las Palmas, CEP Gran Canaria Sur, and Agencia Nacional SEPIE.
Several members of the European Association of Training Providers were actively represented, including Gemeenschapsonderwijs, GO Scholengroep Dynamiek, Euneos, Interacting+ and LFEE. Their participation underlined the active role of EATP members in delivering high-quality training, Erasmus+ courses, and mobility opportunities across Europe
The conference brought together schools, adult education providers, Erasmus+ coordinators, and international partners from across Europe. Key institutions, including the European Commission and the OECD, shared insights on current priorities and future developments in European education.
Discussions focused on the Erasmus+ 2028–2034 programme, highlighting internationalisation, inclusion, well-being, and cross-border collaboration. The event also offered networking opportunities, allowing EATP members to showcase innovative approaches and strengthen partnerships for mobility projects and training initiatives.
The Internationalisation Days reinforced the value of cooperation between regional authorities, European institutions, and education providers, supporting long-term collaborations and a more connected, forward-looking European Education Area.
